I have a report from a new soldier in our division right here. It says that he didn't know what to do when he was dropped on the battlefield. That is completely unacceptable! I will personally punish his superiors! And the only punishment for such a serious crime in the time of war is death! OK. Enough of this rage. Lets start our today briefing.
First of all lets talk about what's happening when you just get inside a war zone. I call this - main battlefield menu. This screen consist of 3 parts. They are:
- Battlefield map
- Squad brief information
- Your current wargear selection
Now lets see on people who are marked green. Those are your squad mates.Well, usually you have to trust them with your own life so make sure you are in the right squad which can actually cover your back, heal you or protect you from enemy tank with one nicely placed rocket. Keep in mind that you can and HAVE TO spawn on your squad mates. To do so simply click on a name of a squad mate and wait for respawn. Bad thing is that if he'll die - you're gonna pick another squad mate to spawn on.
There are a lot of available squad names out there. You can either join of existing squads by pressing "Join" button or create your own. That lock button will filter all unnecessary people. You'll either approve their joining or say "bb" to them.
In the wargear selection menu you can choose your class for this game. Keep in mind that if you're a fresh meat in this god forsaken war then you'll be given only main weapon, pistol, one grenade, one knife and one additional piece of wargear which can be C4, RPG, ammo box or maybe med kit. When you'll get higher rank in our army, then we can give you more advanced guns and toys.
Frankly speaking army doesn't like people who jump from one profession to another on the fly. Mainly because you are good at one class in the game. So changing it will not do any good. Perfect army suppose to have balanced squads. For example, squad Alpha can be mainly attacking force therefore it will consist from 3 assaulter and one medic; squad bravo - engineering squad therefore 3 engineers and 1 medic. I also want that all you of notice that I put medic in each squad on purpose. That's because when you play in Conquest or Rush your respawn tickets decrease with your death, but! But if medic revive his teammate then that ticket is back. Which is extremely helpful in the finale of Rush when you don't have luxury of dying.
So, we covered this main battlefield menu. Lets talk about UI which you can see directly in action. Map to your left is an extremely useful thing! But that's basically the same map from main battlefield menu so we'll not talk about it anymore. Actually one more thing. But it's extremely important! When you seen an enemy - press social button (by default it's Q). With this you can spot enemy and it'll be marked by a red triangle which is extremely helpful! Plus if that sucker will be shot while being spotted - you get a bonus!
Do you see that blue square above that flag? If the color of that is blue - you're safe. That means that flag is controlled by your team. If that square is blinking - get your ass to that position and kill all enemy nearby! Because blinking means enemy is trying to conquer that flag. Since you're a smart soldier I'm not going to tell you obvious things like that you have to conquer every flag which doesn't have blue square above it. That is all up to you to figure that out.
Now couple of words about Rush mode UI. It's kinda the same. Only if you're attacking then your objectives marked by a red square. When you armed it, then square start his blink sequence. You have to make sure that enemy don't disarm that. If you're defending M-COM station then it's marked by a blue square. Defend that, kill everything that is not your army and you'll be fine.
I hope that our todays briefing will help you in a future and that now you know where to go and what to destroy or conquers. Class dismissed.

Again nice work chap, im impressed! Let all the {TIS} guys who havnt got the game yet read this.
